stunned by thy beauty
and it ain’t a person
pristine those hills were
like any other fiction
we did drive around
alongside the bars
taking a road already taken
with a sky full of stars
deep inside the forest
until we saw our cabin
the locale was lush green
was like an earthly heaven
just gazed everywhere
and heard the loud roar
I said, it’s a lion
my friend asked, “are you sure?”
this time we walked afar
had no fear of the king
was about to loose our way back
and just then heard a ding
I, determined to travel some more
but to reach back cabin hopefully
a friend started to frighten
he said, “you are no mogli.”
we just followed the ding
and this time smelled some noodles
also witnessed a fox
no bigger than a poodle
our heart skipped a beat
a beat I wanna hear again
one hell of a journey it was
felt happy as if there’s no pain
found the cabin gradually
amidst all the chaos
held each other’s hands
and said, for a moment, “let’s pause”
laid under the sky
and simply admired the stars
and since then I believe
no dream is too far.
